I offer two 8-week courses in meditation and mindfulness:
Meditation and Mindfulness for Wellbeing and Meditation and Mindfulness for Insight:

Meditation and Mindfulness for Wellbeing

(8 x 2 hour, weekly sessions)

  • A course designed specifically for promoting health and wellbeing.

    This course provides an introduction to meditation and mindfulness, equipping you with skills for dealing with stress and/or health-related issues, and for achieving a greater sense of wellbeing and vitality.

    Using centuries-old ‘Zen’ practices you’ll learn simple yet effective techniques to improve your concentration and mental focus, deal with stress and pain, and bring attention to how things are for you, right now, in the present moment.

    Over the 8 weeks we will explore a variety of topics, including:

    • Stress and time pressures
    • Physical pain
    • Emotions and emotional health
    • Mindful living and taking care of yourself
    • Elevated function of body and mind

     

    You’ll also learn a range of meditation techniques and mindful movement practices to incorporate very practically into your daily life to help you navigate through life’s ups and downs.

  • Group dates for the Meditation & Mindfulness for Wellbeing course are currently on hold.

  • Standard Fee: £220.00 per person, per 8-week programme.

    You will need to pay a £50 deposit at the time of booking, and full payment should be made by 14 days prior to the course start date. Payment can be made by online bank transfer, cash or cheque. Payment by instalment can be arranged.

Meditation and Mindfulness for Insight

(8 x 2 hour, weekly sessions)

  • This course is aimed at delving a little deeper into meditation and mindfulness – moving beyond wellbeing alone.

    You’ll learn techniques that allow you to explore the higher realms of human potential and your connection with your true self, whilst maintaining a grounded and energetic approach to life. You don’t need to have previous experience of meditation – simply a keen interest in opening up to who you really are and exploring your full potential.

    Over the 8 weeks we will explore a variety of topics including:

    • Stress and time pressures
    • Physical effects of meditation and mindfulness
    • Emotional effects of meditation and mindfulness
    • Elevated function of body and mind
    • Stages of self-development and insight
    • Working with energy

     

    You’ll also learn a range of meditation techniques and mindful movement practices to develop insight into your true nature and for moving energy around the body.
